Don Waters has received numerous honors for his writing, including a Pushcart Prize and the McGinnis-Ritchie Award from the Southwest Review. His stories have appeared in Epoch, The Kenyon Review, StoryQuarterly, the Santa Monica Review, and other literary magazines.

He was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and now lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with his partner, the writer Robin Romm.
